Sir Keir Starmer will push allies to deliver Ukraine with additional extended-range weaponry to hit enemy locations during discussions in Britain on the upcoming Friday.

The prime minister plans to receive Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", comprising over twenty of Kyiv's partners who have committed to provide Kyiv protection commitments once fighting stops is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for several weeks for further advanced missile technology from the West, an action that the Russian government has warned would intensify the hostilities.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from the EU capital, where he met European representatives on yesterday requesting financial support.

Sir Keir will encourage participants to expand the delivery of advanced missile technology following a productive attack on an industrial facility in Bryansk, Russia, using Britain-delivered Storm Shadow missiles.
